FIVE EASY LESSONS

(AKA Lewis)

‘Five Easy Lessons’ are from Perth Western Australia. They were originally called ‘Lewis’ but another band from Queensland told them they couldn’t use that name. They formed out of the remnants of Perth Punk band Kerb in the early 2000’s & recorded an EP with legendary engineer Shaun O’Callaghan at Studio Couch. Their primary songwriter moved overseas and the EP was never officially released.

However…when clearing out some old boxes a CD fell out with the files from the recording and the time felt right to finally release the songs into the now digital world.

When excitedly uploading the first song to Spotify an attempt was made to reclaim their original name once more…Alas spotify said there was another band called ‘Lewis’ and they couldn’t do that (probably from Queensland).

So ‘Five Easy Lessons’ it is.
